High-expansion foam generator


Product Introduction
  The PSF-4 high-expansion foam generator is one of the main devices in the high-expansion foam fire extinguisher system. This product has a large foaming capacity and is suitable for extinguishing various types of fires.

 

Working principle
  The water wheel is driven by a foam mixture at a pressure of 0.3 to 1.0MPa to rotate the Feng Lun. The mixture is sprayed in a mist form onto the foaming net through the nozzle, forming a film on the surface of the net. The wind blown onto the net by the wind wheel expands into a large number of bubbles, forming a high-expansion cheongsam that subuncovers or covers the surface of the burning object.

  The purpose of fire extinguishing is achieved by taking advantage of the blocking, cooling and suffocation effects of foam. In total flooding and local application high-expansion foam fire extinguishing systems, it is fixed in the protected area to achieve the purpose of fire suppression.

Installation

  • There must be no obstructions within 3 meters from the air inlet end of the foam generator.
  • There shall be no obstacles hindering the discharge of foam within 1 meter in front of the foaming net of the foam generator
  • Foam generators used in total flooding systems must be installed at a height higher than the designed height of the foam
  • The foaming net should face the protected area
     

Maintain self-cultivation

  • Clean the foaming net frequently. At no time should there be any debris on the foaming net
  • The foam generator should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water after each injection
  • The foam generator should be overhauled once a year. After the overhaul and assembly are completed, a water pressure test of 1.25MPa should be conducted for sealing. There shall be no leakage or obvious deformation at all parts and connection points.
  • When not in use, cover the equipment with a rainproof cloth to avoid wind and sun exposure and extend its service life
